Stagemad Theatre Company (Waterford) presents “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” by Edward Albee.

History professor George and his wife, Martha, return late one Saturday night from a cocktail party at the home of the college president, Martha’s father. Martha announces that she invited another couple, newly appointed instructor Nick and his wife, Honey over for a nightcap. When the younger couple arrive, the night erupts into a no-holds-barred torrent of marital angst and verbal tirades in this Tony Award-winning all-time classic.

Stagemad presents Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf runs for 3 nights only at Garter Lane Arts Centre from Thur 27th to Sat 29th Oct at 8pm nightly.

Stagemad Theatre Company has been making theatre in Waterford for the last 17 years. Flying the Waterford flag at home and abroad on a regular basis. Following on from the massive success of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Japenese Gardens, Tramore in June and at the Edinburgh fringe festival, this August with the highly acclaimed Jetty Stars by Noel Kelly.
