KINDLY SPONSORED BY:

Mini Musos is an early years music & movement programme established in 2010 by Karen McMahon, aimed primarily at children aged 0-5yr old and their primary carer to enjoy together. Using music as a median to stimulate the five main areas of early childhood development: Language, Social, Emotional, Cognitive & Physical.

The sessions are broken down into milestone specific age groups, ensuring the children learn and grow in a safe and stimulating environment. Using a mix of live and pre-recorded music Karen will bring you and your little ones on a musical journey, using props, untuned percussion, body & voice.

Parents of children aged 0-5 years old are required to be present for the workshops and parents of children aged 6-18 years are asked to stay closeby. There is a café within the building where the workshop will take place.

2:00 - 2:30PM: 30 Minute Workshop for children 0-2yrs

Baby Bop 0-2yrs is a class designed specifically for babies & young toddlers. Most of the activities are floor based, on the primary carers knee, or on soft foam mats providing a safe space for your child to explore, stretch, crawl and interact with other young children. We will move, sing, sway and play together.

Music Makers 2-5yrs is an energetic faster-paced class for older toddlers & pre-school aged children with parents present. Introducing the mini musos to early musicianship as they continue to learn through creative play & music. Moving to a steady pulse, tapping rhythms on instruments, finding our voice, exploring timbre, tempo & dynamics, fine tuning their aural skills during stop/start activities, this class is vibrant, active & full of magic!
