Creative Identities
Panel discussion and public forum

Monday October 23rd, 7:30pm
Garter Lane Arts

'Creative Identities' is a new series of public talks and and open discussions which invite you to explore new ideas about the role creativity plays as an agent of positive change. Join us to examine how creativity meets our challenges in Waterford and how a sense of identity manifests itself in an urban centre.

This first discussion as part of Imagine Festival includes a panel of leading local and national innovators who will open a design-led debate about wellbeing- urban regeneration and gender based challenges.

Speakers:

Kim MacKenzie Doyle, President of the Institute of Designers Ireland.

Richard Seabrooke, Co Founder of Offset, Curator of The Future and Creative Director of ModernGreen.

Edel Tobin & Sarah Jane Hanton, The Waterford Walls & Patterns of Light Team.

'Creative Identities' events continue during National Design Week and Science Week on November 14th & 15th. 'Creative Identities' was developed by WIT in partnership with Garter Lane Arts Centre and is supported by IDI, ICAD, Waterford Local Enterprise Office, Waterford Chamber of Commerce, Creative Ireland and the Imagine Festival.
