What is Twine?

For the younger student, Twine is a web site that allow you make stories and simple games that get very tricky. You can have many endings, and a scoreboard to make the game or story fun and challenging.

For older students and adults, Twine is an open-source tool for telling interactive, nonlinear stories and games. You don't need to write any code to create a simple story with Twine, but you can extend your stories with variables, conditional logic, images, CSS, and JavaScript when you're ready. The story can be packaged as a single html file that you can publish on your website or GitHub. What to expect on the day.

For this session we will show how to create a simple Halloween game. You can follow along if you have a laptop, but that is not required.
