The LIT Festival, Europe’s first youth-run festival of literature based in Waterford, joins the WWW to talk about the future of writing, moderated by Sarah Maria Griffin

Sarah Maria Griffin

Sarah Maria Griffin's first novel, Spare & Found Parts, was released in February 2018 by Titan Books, after a 2016 release in North America by Greenwillow Books, Harper Collins. Her collection of essays about emigration, Not Lost, was published by New Island Press in 2013. She was the recipient of the European Science Fiction Awards Chrysalis Award in 2017 and was the recipient of an Arts Council Bursary for Literature in Spring of that year. She was NUI Maynooth's Writer in Residence for 2017/18 and is currently the Writer in Residence at the DLR Lexicon. Her second novel, Other Words For Smoke, will arrive in Spring 2019.

Sean Dunne

Seán is your every day, average nerd. He enjoys reading, writing and not getting picked for sports. His current favourite writers are Charles Dickens, Sylvia Plath and Oscar Wilde, none of whom are alive. He is currently in his leaving cert year at De La Salle College Waterford. Unfortunately. He is a founding member of The Lit -A festival of reading and writing for young people.
