In an exhibition of Dance Photography, Hayley K. Stuart's latest collaboration is brought to life for one night, at Garter Lane. Feel the rush of the waves and the pulse of the Mermaid's tale as we celebrate the Irish coastline and it's mythology with this unique, immersive event.

Muirgen started as a collaboration between emerging photographer Hayley K. Stuart and Waterford-born dancers Rachel Ní Bhraonáin and Sophie Hutchinson. Taken in Tramore, in July and December 2017, the movement was improvised in reaction to the landscape and captured on film as it happened - a trio between photographer and dancers. The exhibition launch, choreographed by Ní Bhraonáin, will see the images burst from their frames, with dancers immersing you in the swell of the ocean, the murmur of the marram grass and Spirit of the Selkie.

Choreographed by:

Rachel Ní Bhraonáin.

Performers:

Robyn Byrne,

Elspeth McKeever.
